About Your Therapist

Jasmine Johnson M.A, LCMHCA, NCC

(Specialties: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression)

As a counselor, I am here to go through the journey of life with you and help you to tackle the emotional and mental challenges life presents. Whether you feel stuck in a never-ending cycle, not quite sure of the reasons behind your responses, or you are experiencing unpleasant emotions and thoughts, I am here to tell you that you don’t have to do this alone. I enjoy helping clients gain insights into themselves, tackle unhelpful thoughts, heal from trauma, learn new coping skills and create a safe space for self-expression.

I am committed to providing you quality therapy by working collaboratively with my clients in individual therapy. My approach as a therapist is direct, intuitive, and compassionate.

I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I work from the Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) modalities.

Together, we will gain an understanding of your past and how it currently effects your present and future. We will discover customized solutions to empower you through difficult times and to help you thrive in life. I commend you for recognizing what you need, making the decision to seek help, and having the courage to ask for it.
